David Ferguson has infuriated governors for years by sharing tidbits about prison life – and protesting his innocence – in messages relayed to a friend outside.

Ferguson, 51, was sentenced to a minimum of 20 years in 2000 for the murder of dinner lady Susan Kent. He slit her throat performing a rape fantasy.
