If you’re an Elliot Page fan, you’ll no doubt be proud of how far he’s come since his Oscar-nominated role in Juno to successful plays in x-men to, now, live his most authentic life after coming out trans in December 202o. Since then, he has continued to advocate for LGTBQIA+ rights and reprized his starring role on Netflix. The Umbrella Academy, where his character’s plot for Season 3 was rewritten to involve an exit story that mirrored Elliot’s.

Sadly, however, his three-year marriage to choreographer Emma Portner ended in early 2021 and since then, despite his busy career, there has been little news of Elliot’s love life. Now, the 35-year-old actor and producer appears to have broken his silence, signaling he’s ready to get back into the dating market with an Instagram story.

As first spotted by Entertainment tonight, Elliot Page gave an update on his love life to his six million followers – and one of his The Umbrella Academy co-stars seem to be involved in an unexpected way.

Specifically, he shared a photo of him and actress Ritu Arya, who plays Lila Pitts on the show, lying on a bed with their backs to the camera. The two friends appear to be huddled around something, presumably Elliot’s phone, and a caption reads “@ritaaryu guiding me to my first dating app.”

It definitely looks like Elliot is ready to move on and find new love in his life, congratulations to him! It’s hard to believe he’s never been on a dating app already before though… we thought that all celebrities automatically had a Raya account?! Now that he’s finally taken the plunge, it’s hard not to wonder what his favorite dating app is: Bumble? Tinder? Thursday?

Only time will tell, but good luck to him in his search for a new flame.
